Tuimavave-Gerrard signs for the Dragons

Adam Tuimavave-Gerrard

A ‘veteran’ of three U-20s seasons, Tuimavave-Gerrard can switch between the back-row and centres and was an influential member of the Warriors’ unlikely surge to the 2014 Holden Cup Premiership.

His two-try heroics in the second week of the finals against minor premiers Newcastle saw the Warriors into the preliminary finals after scraping into eighth spot on the table in the last match of the regular season.

A week later he scored in the Warriors’ dramatic 29-26 win over the Eels and showed his skillset in the grand final against Brisbane with a grubber down the right touchline to set up winger Solomone Kata for his second try of the match.

Hailing from the famed Tuimavave league family, Adam’s uncles Paddy and Tony played for the Kiwis while former Warriors players Evarn and Carlos are cousins.

Tuimavave-Gerrard was a member of the Junior Kiwis squad which defeated the Junior Kangaroos 15-14 in a thriller at Mt Smart last weekend and will join the Dragons for pre-season training next week.
