Graham the first Shark in the gun

Cronulla's Wade Graham is the first player to be interviewed by ASADA as the investigation into the use of performance enhancing drugs ramped up on Monday.

Dressed casually in a t-shirt, jeans, cap and sunglasses, Graham met with his legal representative Richard Redman for around an hour in the Reserve Bank building in Sydney before the pair jumped in a cab to an undisclosed location.

The Sharks star and Redman were expected to then meet with ASADA officials to begin the formal interviewing process.

Cronulla officials are being kept in the dark over the exact timing and duration of each meeting, while the media pack has been on a wild goose chase attempting to track down the location of the ASADA meetings.

A Cronulla official told Sportal on Monday: "The meetings could take five minutes or five hours and be held anywhere; we just don't know.

"The players have been given some notice but the club is not being told a thing - the players are telling us.

"It's completely out of our hands as to when the meetings are on and who is up to be interviewed on what day and for how long."

Up to 14 Cronulla players could be called in over the next few weeks as ASADA probe the alleged used of illegal drugs under the club's 2011 supplements program.

Graham was expected to be the only player interviewed on Monday.

The Sharks' preparation for games will be severely hampered by the ongoing investigation, with coach Shane Flanagan likely to be without players for key training and recovery sessions.

The club's season already appears in freefall, with just two win in seven starts and a difficult away trip to in-form Newcastle looming on Saturday.
