Manly took steps to eradicate get-out clauses from players' contracts in the lead-up to Des Hasler's departure from Brookvale, saving the club from a mass exodus of talent.
Star five-eighth Kieran Foran is the only player with an existing get-out clause in his contract, allowing him to move on if Hasler was not coach.
Hasler was sacked by Manly last Friday and begun a four-year stint at Canterbury on Monday.
But Foran has indicated he will not activate the get-out clause, pledging his loyalty to the Sea Eagles as they prepare to mount their premiership defence under Geoff Toovey in 2012.
Fullback Brett Stewart did have a clause allowing him to leave if Hasler departed but that is now null and void.
Skipper Jamie Lyon also had a clause in a previous contract permitting him to leave should good friend and recruitment manager Noel Cleal move on.
Cleal has joined Hasler at the Bulldogs but Lyon's upgraded contract does not include the old clause.
One source close to the Manly club told Sportal: "That was the problem with having a coach (Hasler) so intimately involved in contract negotiations - there were too many of these ridiculous clauses."
"That's now been shut down and they simply won't agree to clauses in the future."
"There was never any chance of players walking after Des was gone because, apart from Kieran, they were all under contract for next year and beyond."
"Apart from the players that have already left, Geoff Toovey will be pretty much working with the grand final-winning side next year."
But Brett Stewart is a strong possibility of leaving the Sea Eagles in 2013, with Canterbury and St George Illawarra the early front-runners for his services.
His brother Glenn has another two years to run on his current deal and could be on the go in 2014.
Captain Lyon is disillusioned with the events of the past six weeks and is another set to review his future when his contract expires at the end of 2013.
