The Wests Tigers have produced their second big re-signing in as many weeks as half-back Robert Lui put pen to paper on a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of 2012.
Less than a week after the Tigers stunned the league community by re-signing Benji Marshall for another four years, the club has done it again as Lui extended his current contract by another two years on Wednesday.
Following impressive performances in the U20s competition in 2009, Lui made his first grade debut against Cronulla in round 23.
In his three first grade games, Lui showed enough ability to stamp himself as a player of the future, coach Tim Sheens saying he's one of the most exciting prospects to come through the game in years.
"We see Robbie as an integral part of the team. He has a very bright future," Sheens said.
"He still has plenty to learn but he is naturally gifted, is quick, has great ball skills, a good kicking game, and knows how to read the play."
The Tigers will also be further boosted when new signing Lote Tuqiri starts training at the club next week..
