Kiwis captain Benji Marshall, St George Illawarra duo Jason Nightingale and Nathan Fien along with Newcastle centre Junior Sau have all been added to the Kiwis end-of-year train-on squad.
Marshall's NRL season ended when the Tigers were beaten in a thriller by the Warriors last Saturday night in Sydney, while Nightingale and Fien both suffered the same fate when the Dragons were beaten by the Broncos.
Sau's Knights side dipped out in the first week of the playoffs, but he was not originally named in the train-on squad due to injury.
Their inclusions lift the number of squad players up to 15, and will continue to rise as teams fall out of the NRL finals.
They are in preparation for a series of matches in October and November that includes a one-off Test in the Cook Islands, a trans-Tasman match against the Kangaroos in Newcastle and their Four Nations tour to the United Kingdom.
