What the jockeys said

1st - Arapaho Miss (Corey Brown)
Her run at Caulfield was super and I had no doubt that she would get the 2500 metres. They were banking up on the turn and I was concerned about getting a run, but I switched her back to the inside and she ran on too well. It was a good game win.

2nd - Serious Speed (Danny Nikolic)
Relaxed well. Waited until as long as possible to make my run but the best horse on the day won.

3rd - Marjorie (Steven Arnold)
She's a nice filly and stayed the trip well. She looks as though she'll make a nice four-year-old. She's still learning but she did relax well.

4th - Royale Harmony (Kerrin McEvoy)
Ran a great race. Got in behind Serious Speed but 2000m is probably her best trip.

5th - Grand Journey (Stathi Katsidis)
Had a good run. I followed Dwayne Dunn in the run but she didn't take me into the race as far as I needed.

6th - El Daana (Dwayne Dunn)
She got a great run but failed to deliver in the straight. She was jumping from the mile to the 2500 metres. (It) took its toll. She might need a bit more match practice.

7th - Riva San (Luke Nolen)
Disappointing. Didn't get a good run.

8th - Zarita (Greg Childs)
In a nice position at the 2000m but once I got to the 1200m I was under a lot of pressure. Held up a bit on the home turn but when I looked as if I would get a run she only plodded.

9th - Bourgogne (Sam Hyland)
She ran well. We got held up a little in traffic rounding the turn where we ran in a traffic jam. If I could have kept the momentum going she might have been able to fill a place.

10th - Diana's Secret (Damien Oliver
Failed to stay.

11th - Diva La Belle (Michelle Payne)
Got further back than I liked and had to cover a little extra ground. She'll be better next time in. Maybe the South Australian Oaks in the autumn.

12th - Try This (Craig Williams)
She relaxed probably too well. She wasn't the same horse as Caulfield. There was no spark today.

13th - Paloma Bella (Craig Newitt)
She didn't run the trip and she's likely to go to the paddock.

14th - Bantry Bay (Darren Gauci)
She just didn't stay the trip.

15th - Class Prevails (Sebastian Murphy)
Failed to stay.
