Unbeaten mare Black Caviar looks certain to run in the Sportingbet Classic in Adelaide later this month after impressing in a jumpout at Caulfield on Tuesday morning.
The champion sprinter overcame her trademark slow start to register a time of 45.99 seconds in the 800 metre workout and will now head to Adelaide in search of a 20th consecutive victory.
Trainer Peter Moody looks likely to start Black Caviar in the $400,000 Sportingbet Classic on April 28, before backing up the five-year-old in the Group 1 Goodwood at Morphettville on May 12.
Providing she gets through those two races unscathed, Black Caviar will then head to England to tackle Europe's best in the Diamond Jubilee States on June 23.
