Snowden, who trains in partnership with son Paul, will saddle up That's A Good Idea and Dublin Lass in the $100,000 event.

Blake Shinn will partner That's A Good Idea on 60kg while Dublin Lass gets in with 54kg and has Kerrin McEvoy to ride.

"They're both in good form,” Snowden said.

"Dublin Lass's run over the Melbourne carnival was very good, she's freshened nicely and has drawn a great barrier.

"I think she's well weighted also.”

Dublin Lass is yet to finish further back than second in three second-up runs and comes into Saturday's race off a career-best run in the Group II GH Mumm Stakes (1100m) at Flemington on November 5 when nabbed on the line by Pittsburgh Flyer.

Snowden has described That's A Good Idea's current preparation as "stop-start” due to wet tracks thwarting the horse's fitness levels.

That's A Good Idea's dislike for rain-affected ground has been well documented and earlier this month Snowden made the painstaking decision to scratch the six-year-old from a stakes in Brisbane after the heavens opened on raceday.

"I took him all the way to Brisbane a fortnight ago in search of a firmer track and it rained on the day so I couldn't run him,” Snowden said.

"But he's in good form, he's been racing against top class horses this preparation.

"The harder the track the better for him, and I think he will get conditions to suit on Saturday.”

Snowden admits it has been a challenge keeping That's A Good Idea ticking over while he waits to strike a dry track.

"You have to trial them in between, which is not ideal and you're sort of marking time,” he said.

"There's no replacement for racing to keep a horse fit but there's not much we can do about it and the horse is well at the moment.

"The plan is to race him through the summer and target races like the Razor Sharp.”

The Listed Razor Sharp Stakes (1200m) will be held at Randwick on December 12.
