Right at his top for this, if he can get over he'll be hard to get past. Amralah wasn't far away in top grade last week. He'll race much closer and be hardest to beat. Bohemian Lily is ready to peak and gets the run of the race. Has to go into everything. | |
| Race Comment: Excess Knowledge may try and cross to cancel the wide gate. Amralah will be ridden much more positive with Escado and Bohemian Lily close up. They should all get spots but it does look a good even speed giving everything it's chance. Top 3 look the main winning hopes but going a touch wider in the quaddie as Bondeiger was a different horse with the blinkers on last start. | |

Starocity has been racing well at the provincials, he gets back and will need luck but has a very powerful finish. Tralfaz won when resuming at 1000m, 1200m may test but Damian Browne will help. Bearskin shows promise and will be improved by his first-up run, he will run on late. Crooked Blaze rarely runs badly and goes well fresh, watch for support. | |

Likely settles further forward here and looks well placed against these. Big danger! Miss Adele has been plenty to like with all three runs this time in. Rise to the 1518m here appears ideal. | |

We have this marked as quite an open race with Ample On Offa ($4.40) selected narrowly on top however would need to get out to at least $5 for us to become interested. Other chances/respecting Princess Hussey ($6), Miss Adele ($8), Miss Joolia ($13), Black Booty ($10), Zipnotized ($10) & even Olivia's Gold ($18). | |

Rock-hard fit and in on the minimum he looks hard to hold out. It's a similar story for Who's To Blame, which is probably in career best form but hasn't had things to suit. Gets in light. Verdello Blue is the obvious one after finishing runner-up to the boom horse last weekend but gives away plenty of weight. | |
| Race Comment: A few go forward which should result in a good steady tempo from the outset. Verdello Blue, Friarday and Sandpipers sort themselves out up front as Raindance Maggie and Toned slot in behind them. The others go back and let things unfold until approaching the turn. With no weight on their backs we can expect the top two to be hard to hold out. Back them both or take the quinella, and use the top 3 prominently in wider exotics. | |
