Religify

$3.80

We try not to make a habit of laying Chris Waller-trained runners but at $3.80 this one does look big unders. Overall record is great (8:5-0-1) but has made the most of an on pace racing pattern and has been placed to perfection thus far. Will be asked to lump 60kg off a mid-draw on Saturday with plenty of speed drawn inside him. Jason Collett will have to decide whether to press on and lead or look for a sit. Things could get ugly early.

Sure You Can

$4.40

These staying contests are usually open affairs so taking $4.40 about Sure You Can is fraught with danger. Racing well enough although yet to win this campaign and all-up has only won three of her 22 career starts. Racenet's analysts couldn't find a spot for her in their top four selections and have left her out of the early quaddie in the Racenet Raceday. That's good enough for us to make her the lay at Moonee Valley.

My Girl Hayley

$3.40

Drawing out in gate 11 has made the task a tough one for My Girl Hayley. Showed ability at her first campaign although looks a one dimensional on pace type so will have to do plenty of early work here to get across and find the front. The Racenet analysts have a big opinion of stablemate Most Important which has drawn more favourably and couldn't find a spot for My Girl Hayley in their top four picks for Racenet Raceday.

Miss World

$3.40

Never looked likely when resuming and went winless for five consecutive starts prior to spelling when raced in New South Wales. If she wasn't with the Tony McEvoy stable we doubt she would be anywhere near as short in the market as she is. Racenet Raceday analysts left her out of their quaddie which is a very strong lead.

Mixed Messages

$3.50

Hadn't done much at the trials then sent out $101 on debut when turned in an even effort behind Celebrity Dream. Sure to improve with that race experience but is still a maiden so is eligible for easier races and must overcome an outside gate. Can't believe they're serving up $3.50. Big unders.
