More help for Racenet users with 'market movers and fluctuations'

Sporting News Logo

The data we collect is from the first time we see fixed odds prices go up for a market (we're using Sportsbet data), refreshed every 15 minutes until the last 15 minutes prior to jump where we update it as frequently as possible (at the moment we're seeing updates at around every minute).

This data is available in the following locations:

1) Under the "Betting" menu link, "Market Movers & Fluctuations". This page will show you a list of meetings. Select a meeting to see all races for that meeting with the runners.

2) At the top of the new form guide. A drop down is available which will show you all the runners just for that race.

3) At the top of the old form guide. A drop down is available which will show you all the runners just for that race.

Hover your mouse over any runner to see a graph of the prices. Click a runner to lock in the graph, this can be useful if you want to monitor just a single runner.

Here are the explanations of the columns:

Open = First fixed odds price that we detect from Sportsbet

High = The highest price the runner reached at any point in time

Low = The lowest price the runner reached at any point in time

Fluc 1 = The second most recent fluctuation

Fluc 2 = The most recent fluctuation

Now = The current price at three different bookmakers

A mobile version will be released in the future.
