Capitalist, trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, recorded a three length win in the Listed Breeders' Plate (1000m) at Randwick on October 3 under hands and heels riding.
The son of Written Tycoon has been unsighted since but is set to return to racing in the $200,000 Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1100m) on December 17.
"He's in work now and will trial at Rosehill on December 8,” co-trainer Peter Snowden said.
"Depending on how he goes he'll probably then head to Wyong for the Magic Millions race.”
The event at Wyong is run 23 days before the $2 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) for which Capitalist is currently the $3.80 favourite with online bookmaker Sportsbet.
