Greg Polson's view - Moody to rock at Nowra

Moody took three horses to Goulburn on September 21 with Rock Forthe Ladies and Aspidistra saluting whilst his other runner Dark Eyes finished second.

Rock Forthe Ladies is heading bush again and will take his place in the Probus Club of Nowra Benchmark 60 handicap (1600m) whilst Angel Dancer will line up in the Country Motor Company Class 1 and Maiden Plate (1600m).

Rock Forthe Ladies was too good for a benchmark 55 field at Goulburn winning the race as a maiden galloper by close to four lengths at just his fourth career start.

Under the wider weight spread in New South Wales for benchmark races which commenced on October 1 Rock Forthe Ladies has been asked to carry 61kg on Tuesday stepping up in grade.

Certainly the rise in weight and grade has to factored into the race analysis but the son of Murtajill won with such authority at Goulburn that it is hard to see him being beaten despite the hurdles he has to overcome.

While Rock Forthe Ladies looks poorly weighted the reverse applies to his stablemate Angel Dancer who looks superbly placed at set-weights contesting a class one plate.

Angel Dancer carries a benchmark handicap rating of 62 into Tuesday's assignment, 10 points clear of the next best rated horse, the Greg Hickman-trained Ericas Magic so is advantaged at the weights with both gallopers allotted 57kg.

Angel Dancer hasn't had much luck in four provincials runs this time and gets the chance to return to the winner's list back to country grade.
