Royal Amati will be striving to go one better in the Parklands Hotel and Serviced Apartments Benchmark 70 Handicap (2000m).

Royal Amati has finished runner-up at her latest three starts twice finishing in the wake of her stable mate More Beautiful including a close second to that galloper this track and distance last time out.

Royal Amati and More Beautiful were acceptors at Warwick Farm on Wednesday with Royal Amati ultimately saved for the easier assignment on Friday.

The daughter of Danehill Dancer makes her own luck up on the speed and will take plenty of running down.

Royal Amati will have another stablemate opposing her on Friday in Scene Of The Crime but she will head to the barriers with confidence knowing Scene Of The Crime has to find six-lengths on their latest meeting at Canberra to have a chance of reversing that result.

Royal Amati has everything in her favour on Friday to return to the winner's list.
