A total of 110 horses have accepted for the meeting, including 20 in the TAB Highway Handicap (1100m) where 16 starters will be declared.

This Saturday's edition of the Highway Handicap is set to be one of the strongest to date with as many as six last start winners including Shutter Bug for Goulburn trainer Danny Williams and the Nick Olive-trained Snippet Of Hope.

In the Club NSW Plate (1400m) for three-year-olds there are 11 starters, headed by Godolphin's Group I-placed Tarquin. Under the set weights and penalties conditions of the race Tarquin gets in with 58kg.

The Surf Meets Turf Plate (1000m) is the meeting's two-year-old contest and all eyes will be on Gerald Ryan's Regimental Force, which won a barrier trial by 9-1/2 lengths last month. All eight of the starters will be on debut.

Godolphin's Barbed is the topweight in the Inglis Classic Sale Night Session Handicap (1400m) with 60kg after the 1.5kg claim of apprentice Rory Hutchings. Among Barbed's opposition is Joe Pride's in-form galloper Gamblestown, which is aiming for a fourth win from his last five starts.

Sports Edition, another member of the Pride stable, has drawn barrier 14 in the Inglis Melbourne Premier in March Handicap (1200m) as he looks to improve on a sixth placing first-up at Rosehill last month.

Also in the race is Bachman resuming for Ryan and Lord Leofric for David Pfieffer.

The Randwick track was rated a good (4) at acceptance time. The rail on Saturday will be in the true position.

Saturday's nine-race programme commences at 12.40pm with the final event to be run at 5.45pm.
