The track has been posted a good (4) with the rail out three metres.

Liam Birchley's in-form seven-year-old Cum Dividend heads the weights on 59kg in the Programmed Property Services Open Handicap (1350m) although with the 2kg claim for James Orman will carry only 57kg.

Former Sydneysider Velrosso, now with Matthew Dunn at Murwillumbah, turned in an eye-catching run first-up over 1200-metres and has drawn gate one on Saturday. The seven-year-old should provide tough competition for Birchley's charge.

Local trainer Tony Gollan is well represented in the final event on the program, the Barry Nilsson Lawyers QTIS 3YO Handicap (1350m).

Gollan has Most Important racing in terrific form, winning his past two starts and Tegan Harrison will partner the son of I Am Invincible on Saturday.

Brisbane's leading trainer also has My Girl Hayley entered in the same race. The Bradbury's Luck filly was well fancied last Saturday but was edged out into third place. Tim Bell has been booked to ride.

The first race jumps at 12.10pm with the final event to be run at 4.37pm.

The Bureau Of Meteorology forecast for Brisbane is.

Wednesday -Mostly sunny. Max 26.
Thursday -Rain and possible storm, clearing. Max 23.
Friday -Partly cloudy. Max 24.
Saturday -Possible shower. Max 23.
