Bounding was impressive winning the Heath Stakes (1100m) and clocked a sizzling 22.33 seconds for the final 400-metres but it was the Darren Weir-trained May's Dream that clocked the fastest final split of the day.
May's Dream came from a long way back in a sit and sprint William Hill Sprint Series Heat 1 Stakes (1200m) when fourth behind Madam Gangster. A final 400-metre split of 22.27 seconds was the quickest of the day.
It will come as no surprise to most that Boban clocked the fastest final 400-metres winning the Group I Memsie Stakes (1400m).
Chris Waller's six-year-old gelding recorded 23.17 seconds when securing an inside run and arriving right in time for Glyn Schofield.
NOTE -We are using the final 400-metre splits this week as that is all that was available from Caulfield.
