The David Hayes and Tom Dabernig-trained Extra Zero is the sole representative from the eastern seaboard after finishing less than four lengths from Gailo Chop in the Group I Mackinnon Stakes (2000m) at Flemington last month.
Magic Artist, which ran fourth in the Mackinnon Stakes, finished another fourth in the Group I Emirates Stakes (1600m) at Flemington last start before travelling west for Saturday's feature Group I.
The Andrea Wohler-trained Irish-bred will be ridden by champion jockey Damien Oliver.
There are also four three-year-old acceptors - Man Booker, London Line, Blackwood, and Perfect Reflection.
