A final field of 16 plus an emergency has been announced for the Melbourne Racing Club's feature three-year-old contest.
The favourite Press Statement holds a 13 benchmark ratings point advantage over the entire field meaning if the race was run under true handicap conditions he'd have to concede a minimum of 6.5kg to the entire field.
Caulfield Guineas Prelude winner Bon Aurum leads the local defence along with that race's runner-up Tulsa while the Kiwi challenge will come from the Murray Baker-trained Dal Cielo.
Other worthy contenders include the Mick Price-trained Ready For Victory, Stan Fox Stakes placegetters Shards and Rageese as well as Peter Moody's Bassett.
Below is the final field for Saturday's Group I Caulfield Guineas. The barrier draw will be conducted at 11am.
