Cox Plate-winning hoop Chad Schofield will become the fourth jockey to ride Gust Of Wind in four starts this preparation when he makes the trip from his current base in Hong Kong to Melbourne on October 17.
Gust Of Wind sits 16th in the Caulfield Cup order of entry but has been subject to a jockey merry-go-round due to riders travelling interstate and her restrictive Caulfield and Melbourne Cups weight of 51kg.
Craig Williams rode the Australian Oaks winner in last Sunday's Group I Turnbull Stakes (2000m) which returned a luckless 11th placing.
Williams could ride the weight but a commitment to Japanese raider Hokko Brave in both the Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup left Sargent to look elsewhere for a jockey.
Schofield has notched five winners in the first month of the 2015-16 Hong Kong racing season.
