World No.1 Lee Westwood carded a stunning final-round 67 to take out the Ballantine's Championship in South Korea on Sunday.

Westwood, who only regained his status as the world's best last week with his triumph at the Indonesia Masters, was the first world number one to play in Korea and he did not disappoint the locals with a fantastic final round.

The Englishman's five-under 67 lifted him to 12 under for the tournament, one clear of Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez, who missed a birdie putt at the 18th that could have forced a play-off.

With rain forcing a premature end to Saturday's third round, Jimenez had a share of the lead with Swede Alex Noren on 10 under after its completion on Sunday morning, and Westwood began his fourth round three shots off the pace.

A pair of birdies on the front nine kept him in touch, and the 38-year-old sunk another three after the turn - including one on the 18th - that saw him rocket into the lead.

When Westwood completed his round, Jimenez was at the 15th on 11 under and he made three successive pars before finding the bunker on his approach to 18.

His chip set up a 15-footer to force a play-off, but the 47-year-old pushed his putt wide to hand Westwood his second win in a week.

South Korean Sang-hyun Park fired an eagle at the 18th in his 69 to take third on 10 under, while American Dustin Johnson also shot a 69 on his way to nine under and fourth place.

Noren's 74 left him on eight under with South Korea's Soon-sang Hong in a share of fifth, while Australian Brett Rumford also shot a disappointing 74 in his final round to leave him level with England's James Morrison and South African Jbe Kruger on seven under.
