Englishman Lee Westwood looks set to win his second Nedbank Golf Challenge title in succession after he starred on Saturday.
Westwood, the world number three, fired a majestic 10-under-par 62 to take a seven-shot lead at the 12-man event with just one day to play.
The Brit delighted the fans at Sun City and it appears that only a collapse of drastic proportions will stop him claiming the US$1.25 million first prize.
He leads Sweden's Robert Karlsson and Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell by the seven-shot margin, with American Jason Dufner and German Martin Kaymer a further shot adrift.
Westwood began the day in superb touch, nailing a hat-trick of birdies on holes two, three and four, before repeating the dose on holes nine to 11.
Somehow, he managed to go one better and shoot four birdies in a row from the 14th to the 17th in a simply amazing round of blemish-free golf.
Karlsson began with four birdies from his first 10 holes but lost ground when he hit successive bogeys on holes 11 and 12 en route to his three-under 69, which he scored for the third day in a row.
McDowell also hit trouble late with his double-bogey on the par four 17th seeing him finish with a two-under 70, while Dufner and Kaymer also scored 70 for the day.
Korean KT Kim and South African Charl Schwartzel are tied for sixth at six-under, while world number one Luke Donald of England is a shot further adrift.
Donald's compatriot, Simon Dyson is at one-under, 15 shots off the lead, while Denmark's Anders Hansen (two-over-par), Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke (three-over-par) and Italian Francesco Molinari (six-over-par) are well back in the field.
