Well, at the Travelers Championship, Bubba Watson landed a shot to shut that loud-mouth up once and for all.
Challenging for the lead in a tournament he’d eventually win, Watson’s drive on the par-four second landed in the rough, with a tree in the way of the hole.
As the two-time Masters winner assessed his options, old mate in the gallery suggested a four-iron punch under the tree.
Watson’s reply: “That’s why you’re on that side of the ropes.”
He then pulled a sand-wedge, lined up his shot, hit over the tree and landed four feet from the hole.
