One amateur golfer had a particularly bad day when he got a surprising hole-in-one — with his head.
Dave Sayers, a 49-year-old Englishman, became the center of attention at a charity golf tournament after getting his head stuck in a trash can. It all started when he tried to throw away his clubs and quickly went downhill from there.
"We were coming to the end of the day and I had been losing it a bit with a few bad shots," Sayers told the British publication Telegraph. "We'd all had a few beers. I said, 'I'm going to bin these clubs' but they wouldn't fit. I decided to go a step further.
"I went to put my head in the bin, but then I couldn't get it out."
Sayers was rescued when an onlooker used Vaseline to help wiggle out his head.
