@FOXSports Been watching your U.S. OPEN coverage for 25 minutes and I've seen only two live golf shots. Horrible, horrible coverage.

@FOXSports Is it halftime at the U.S. Open?? Must be why there's so much talking and so little golf being shown!!!!!

Wow these guys on @FOXSports for the U.S. open might be the most idiotic announcers I've ever listened to

This coverage of the U.S. Open by Fox is terrible.

When Fox refers to today as the second day of the U.S. Open. 😓

Get the picture? Fox's first venture into coverage of a men's professional golf major has been on par with Tiger Woods' performance. It's hard to find anyone who thinks it's good.
It started from the get-to. Fox was pilloried by The Washington Post for its first-round coverage, and things haven't improved.
This is perhaps the kindest of comments.
Fox sports using all kinds of unique technology to enhance the viewers experience of watching this years us open.

Here's another positive, as delivered in a scalding review by USA Today: "There was one huge benefit. No more Chris Berman shouting his way through the first two days of Open coverage. Hallelujah."
OK, so Rory McIlroy isn't challenging the leaders, Woods crapped out and other big names (like you, Phil Mickelson) and struggling. But great stories and the telling of them make a difference when star power is absent.
Maybe a Fox bot making putts would help.
And about that leaderboard ...
