Tshwane Open set for blockbuster finale

Six players will take a share of the lead heading into the final day's play at the Tshwane Open, after overnight leader Adrian Otaegui failed to build on an impressive Friday.

Otaegui had looked on course to register the European Tour's first round of 59 only for his second round to tail off, and he once again could not build on the momentum of picking up two early shots, following that up with back-to-back bogeys.

The Spaniard dropped a further two shots in his final eight holes, but a birdie at 15 ensured he remains in the leading pack.

David Horsey and Trevor Fisher Jr finished the round one under to join Otaegui, while South African pair George Coetzee and Wallie Coetsee picked up a couple of shots for the day to join the group on nine under for the week.

Coetzee may be the one to watch on Sunday - his knowledge as a member of the Pretoria Country Club potentially coming into play when the pressure rises.

Momentum is firmly in Craig Lee's favour though, the Scot rounding off the leading sextet after a four-under round which featured six birdies.

Ockie Strydom and Erik van Rooyen sit a shot further back, with Edoardo Molinari in a group of three players on seven under who cannot be ignored.

Michael Hoey almost made up a five-shot deficit to overtake last year's winner Ross Fisher on the final day a year ago, but the Ulsterman will need a minor miracle, with seven shots separating him and the leading pack.
