A hardly recognizable Tiger Woods surprised girlfriend Lindsey Vonn in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, after Vonn broke the record for the most women's FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup wins with a victory in the super-G Monday.

Donning a skeleton ski mask, hooded coat and sunglasses, Woods surprised Vonn in the finish area, where the pair shared an emotional embrace.

"I didn't think this could get any better than yesterday with my entire family here but now with Tiger here this is unbelievable," Vonn said. "I said, 'I can't believe you came.' "

Vonn has returned to form after recovering from a devastating knee injury at the 2013 World Championships that she aggravated in training while attempting to secure a place at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
