Rollins two clear in Jackson

Rollins, 39, last won on the US tour in August 2009 at the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open, but a four-under-par 68 at the Country Club of Jackson took him to 14 under overall heading to the final 18 holes.

Only a bogey at the par-four sixth marred Rollins' day, before the overnight joint-leader carded three birdies thereafter to shoot into the outright lead.

William McGirt (66) climbed into contention at 12 under, while Jason Bohn (66) and Lucas Glover (67) are a further stroke back in a tie for third in an all-American top four.

McGirt sunk seven birdies in his third round, as did Bohn and Glover to put the pressure on the top pair.

Canada's Nick Taylor (70) dropped a couple of places to a tie for fifth with American David Toms, whose even-par round saw him fall four shots behind Rollins with whom he shared the lead through 36 holes.

Robert Streb (70) is outright seventh at nine under, with more Americans making up an extended top 10 - Kyle Reifers (67), Mark Wilson (68), Will Wilcox (68), Jonathan Byrd (66), Justin Thomas (69), John Huh (68) and Boo Weekley (70) joining Argentine Fabian Gomez (69) in a tie for eighth.

Defending champion Woody Austin (72) has failed to mark his mark this week, and is tied for 59th.
