Richie Ramsay produced an excellent performance to card a best-of-the-day 66 and move into a four-way share of a one-shot lead after the second round of the Trophee Hassan II on Friday.

Ramsay's round, in which he posted six birdies and no bogeys, saw him move level on six under overall with Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Richard Green and Oliver Farr at the top of the leaderboard.

Cabrera-Bello, a two-time winner on the European Tour, shot a three-under 69, with his only bogeys coming at the sixth and par-five 15th.

Speaking to the European Tour's official website, Cabrera-Bello said: "I'm pleased with the way I've played; I felt I played really solid.

"I made a couple of sloppy swings [on Thursday] and a couple of silly mistakes [on Friday] but overall I am very pleased.

"I think it is a good score, it's a tricky course and I'm just pleased. I think I will be in a very good position for the weekend."

However, only a bogey at the last prevented Farr from taking the lead, that error the sole blot on an otherwise faultless display, with four of his five birdies coming on the back nine.

France's Adrien Saddier, who led at the Golf du Palais with a seven-under 65 in the first round, had a day to forget in Agadir.

Saddier holed five bogeys and a double-bogey on his way to a five-over 77, leaving him at two under for the tournament.

Meanwhile, last year's winner Alejandro Canizares missed the cut along with Englishman Andy Sullivan, whose hopes of qualification for The Masters were ended as he finished on five-over with a second-round 75.
