A minimum of 47 tournaments will take place over 11 months, starting with the Nedbank Golf Challenge on December 4.

New additions to the calendar include the Thailand Classic and the Hero Indian Open, which will take place in consecutive weeks in February, while the Shenzhen International begins on April 16.

In May, the new Mauritius Open will become the first event to be tri-sanctioned by the European, Asian and Sunshine Tours.

Europe will host two new events, including the inaugural Paul Lawrie Matchplay in July and the return of the European Open in Germany in September - the tournament included in the roster for the first time since 2009.

The Irish Open, which has forged an association with world number one Rory McIlroy's 'The Rory Foundation, has been moved to start on May 28, the weekend after the Tour's flagship event the BWM PGA Championship at the Wentworth Club.

"We are very pleased to announce our full schedule for 2015, a schedule which offers our membership diversity, interest, excitement and variety at a host of wonderful venues in all four corners of the globe," Keith Waters, chief operating officer and director of international policy for The European Tour, told the Tour's official website.

"We are delighted to have been able to add so many new tournaments and destinations to the Tour and we are pleased that our scheduling has enabled us to create significant clusters of tournaments in the same regions of the world whether that be in Asia, the Middle East or indeed South Africa where we have six events next season."
