Woods in Ryder Cup team

American Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin has done the predictable, picking Tiger Woods in his wildcard selections.
Joining Woods in the four picks were Stewart Cink, Zach Johnson and Rickie Fowler.
There was much speculation on whether Woods would make it into the side given his omission from the automatic rankings, but the world No.1 will play a part at Celtic Manor in what will be his sixth cap for his country.
Woods has only once been a part of a winning Ryder Cup side - in 1999 in Boston - but has been a part of 25 Ryder Cup games, winning 10, halving two and losing 13.
Steve Stricker is expected to partner Woods, with the pair unbeaten in Presidents Cup pairings.
Johnson won the Masters in 2007 and came third in the US PGA in August, and earns his second selection to the side.
Cink will play his third Cup in four years despite only having one top-ten finish on Tour in six months.
Fowler is a smoky to the team, coming in at just 21 years of age and ranked 33rd in the world, having not won a Tour title yet but finishing runner-up on three occasions.
