Norman: Tiger missing 'aura'

World No.1 golfer Tiger Woods is no longer the imposing threat he once was, according to Greg Norman.
American Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin selected Woods on Tuesday with one of four wildcard picks to the team.
But Norman said on Tuesday that Woods' winning drought would be a burden his shoulders heading into the Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor on October 1-3.
"Tiger's got an interesting dilemma, as he hasn't won in nearly a year now. So that erodes away at you, even though you're working on your golf swing and trying to make changes. Those changes have got to take place under the pressure of winning," the Australian said.
Norman said Woods has dropped back to the pack, but the benefit of not being at the top of the leaderboard also allows him to relax and change up his game.
"Right now, it seems although he's in the middle of the field and you can play with a little bit of freedom when your experimenting on your golf swing, because if you finish 11th, there's no difference to if you finish 18th, or finishing 9th," he said.
"He's got to go through this process, he'll get there, he's a great student of the game, he's singled minded, that's all he wants to do is be inside the ropes and perform well to the best of his ability and to win. But he doesn't have that real aura about him as much as what he had a few years ago."
