Australian Marcus Both is in the mix at the Myanmar Open, sitting tied for third at the midway point of the Asian Tour event just three shots from the lead.
After starting the day in 22nd spot, Both got hot on his front nine, hitting seven birdies, before dropping one shot on his back nine to finish the day with a six-under 66 to be 10-under overall.
Both trails leader Kiradech Aphibarnrat (13 under) with the Thai ahead of compatriot Thanyakon Khrongpha (11 under).
Tied with Both are another local Chawalit Plaphol and Finland's Joonas Granberg.
Another Australian Darren Beck is tied for sixth spot, level on nine under with South Korea's Baek Seuk-hyun and Thai Arnond Vongvanij.
The next best Australians are David Lutterus (tied 14th), Scott Hend (tied 27th), Tim Stewart and Unho Park (both tied 51st).
