Australian duo Adam Blyth and Paul Donahoo finished in a tie for sixth place at the Philippine Open, but they were no match for eventual winner Mardan Mamat.
Mamat fired a final round of 71 to finish at eight-under-par and register a five-stroke victory over Korean Mo Joong-kyung.
Tied for third a further two shots back at one-under were Antonio Lascuna of the Philippines and Japan’s Azuma Yano, while American Ben Fox was outright fifth at level-par.
Blyth (71) and Donahoo (72) were a further shot adrift, but the pair never seriously threatened Mamat at the top of the leaderboard.
"It feels great," Mamat said.
"It's always good to win a tournament, especially the oldest national Open in Asia."
"I didn't do any stupid mistakes and kept my ball in play all the time."
"The whole week I'm very patient and hit the ball good."
Of the other Australians to make the cut, Marcus Both closed with a 73 to finish at three-over, while Wade Ormsby (74) claimed a share of 19th place at five-over.
Compatriot Tim Stewart finished strongly with a 71 to be nine-over, while Adam Groom and Scott Barr both shot 78's to be 11-over and 12-over respectively.
