Visitors Blackburn were led by caretaker Gary Bowyer, with Michael Appleton yet to take charge, having been prised from Blackpool after just 12 games in the hot seat at Bloomfield Road.

Bowyer saw his charges take the lead through a Jordan Rhodes penalty in the 26th minute of the match at Molineux, the spot-kick won by Ruben Rochina after minimal contact from Bakary Sako.

It took Wolves until the 74th minute to hit back, Roger Johnson connecting with a cross from substitute Jamie O'Hara to earn a point for Dean Saunders in his first match as manager since taking over from the sacked Stale Solbakken.

The result leaves Blackburn 12th on the table, four points outside the play-off places and four points better off than Wolves, who are 17th.
