Tando Velaphi ($155k) – Sign him now:

The Melbourne City gloveman has been superb in pre-season and looks to be a great bargain buy. Even with the arrival of ex-Danish international Thomas Sorensen at City, Velaphi’s eye-catching form could see him retain the side’s No.1 jersey for the start of the Hyundai A-League season.

Antony Golec ($199k) – Sign him now:

Golec looks like being a certain starter at Perth Glory after a stop-start sting at the Wanderers. One of the most resolute defenders on his day, Golec will be a regular under Kenny Lowe and also carries a goal threat at set pieces.

Devante Clut ($184k) - Sign him now:

The talented youngster is a great bargain buy. Clut has looked sensational in limited opportunities at Brisbane Roar so far, producing terrific strikes last season. With a spot open in Roar’s midfield to start the season, he will be desperate to start producing those types of performances on a consistent basis.

Richard Garcia ($189k) - Sign him now:

Promoted to skipper by Kenny Lowe, veteran Garcia is sure to start and will be looking to lead by example on the pitch. Has vowed to be more prolific in front of goal this season to help fill the void left by departing duo Andy Keogh and Jamie Maclaren. Could have a huge impact for the boys from the west.

Roy O’Donovan ($220k): - Sign him now:

The Irishman has been given the huge task of trying to provide the Mariners with the goals to help them move up the Hyundai A-League ladder this season. The only real genuine No.9 in Tony Walmsley’s squad, O’Donovan looks an astute acquisition and is a steal at just $220k.
