North Queensland midfielder Ufuk Talay has received a two-match suspension for an off-the-ball incident during the Fury's A-League loss to Wellington on Friday night.
Talay was sighted for allegedly elbowing Phoenix striker Chris Greenacre in the 13th minute of the Phoenix's 2-1 win.
The incident escaped the attention of the referee but the Match Review Panel later considered the incident and charged Talay with assault on a player - violent conduct when not challenging for the ball.
Talay has until midday AEST on Tuesday to a decide whether to appeal.
The red card issued to Gold Coast's John Curtis in or around the 68th minute of the match against Sydney FC on Sunday stands and he will serve the minimum one match suspension.
