Spartak Moscow made it consecutive triumphs in the Champions League group stage, joining Bayern Munich and Real Madrid on Tuesday's winners list.

Taking on Slovakian outfit Zilinia front of the home faithful at Luzhniki Stadium, Spartak had a brace from Ari before a late strike from fellow Brazilian Ibson sealed a 3-0 victory.

Ari found the back of the net first from an Alex cross, heading home to hand the hosts the lead.

Dmitriy Komarov was Ari's provider for the second goal, swinging in a short cross to the far post for the striker to convert.

Former Porto midfielder Ibson finished the rout when he turned in Cristian Maidana's ball in the 89th minute.

Arsenal beat 10-man Partizan Belgrade 3-1 in Serbia, scoring twice after Marko Jovanovic's red card in the 56th minute.

Russia international Andrei Arshavin opened the scoring for the visitors on the quarter-hour mark, but Cleo levelled from the spot to leave the tie poised at the break.

Jovanovic's red card brought about a penalty for Arsenal, but Arshavin could not put his side in the lead.

Marouane Chamakh made no mistake on 71 minutes and, just over 10 minutes later, the Londoners sealed the three points through a Sebastien Squillaci header.

Belgrade had a gilt-edged chance to get back in the game in the 84th minute, but Cleo missed a penalty and a chance to finish with a double.

Shakhtar Donetsk's Luiz Adriano scored a brace in his side's 3-0 away win to Braga at Estadio AXA.

Brazilian compatriot Douglas Costa was the provider of both Adriano's goals, before scoring one of his own from the penalty spot in the 90th minute to seal the victory.

Bayern Munich were forced to recover from an early deficit to beat Basel 2-1 at St. Jakob Park.

Striker Alexander Frei put the hosts ahead on 18 minutes, but Bastian Schweinsteiger scored from the spot in the 56th minute before handing his side the lead in the 89th as they stole all three points from the Swiss side.

AS Roma scored two goals in as many minutes to beat CFR Cluj at Stadio Olimpico 2-1.

Philippe Mexes and Marco Borriello scored in the 69th and 71st minutes. Ionut Rada pegged one back for Cluj but it was not enough to take a point.

Ajax and defending champions Inter Milan shared the spoils at Amsterdam ArenA, with goals to Mounir El Hamdaoui and Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaving the sides locked at 1-1 at full time.

Angel Di Maria scored a late winner for Real Madrid in their away fixture at Auxerre at Stade de l'Abbe Deschamps.

The 81st minute goal - an impressive angled volley on his left foot - came courtesy of some fine lead-up work by Germany's 2010 World Cup star Mesut Ozil.
