Croatia improved to eighth place at the expense of Portugal, while Serbia's 2-0 win over Israel secured them 20th place.

Italy climbed to 11th place, level with Norway, and Japan climbed two places to 15th on the back of their triumph in the Asian Cup.

Ghana are the highest-ranked African nation, down one spot to 16th place, and Jamaica were the biggest climbers - jumping 11 spots to sit in 48th position.
