Crowe, a lifelong Leeds fan tweeted in February, asking LUFC fans if they thought it would be a good idea for him to buy the club.
The tweet received more than 3,000 favourites, however the Australian movie-star set the record straight via Twitter on Tuesday (AEST), stating that he wouldn’t be able to commit to the club that he acknowledged has “massive opportunity.”
Crowe’s explanation as to why he would not be purchasing the club was laid down in a series of tweets, which referenced his children and economics as major contributing factors in his decision.
