RKC Waalwijk into third round

RKC Waalwijk have qualified for the third round of the Dutch Cup with a comprehensive 5-0 victory away to third-tier club Lisse.

Waalwijk, who sit eighth in the Eredivisie, bagged three goals in the last 17 minutes of the match to defeat Lisse, with Teddy Chevalier scoring twice for the visitors in the big win.

Go Ahead Eagles needed penalties to defeat VVV Venlo after the match finished at 4-4 over 120 minutes, including two goals from each team in extra-time, while fourth-tier club ONS Sneek edged Excelsior Rotterdam in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw.

Roda JC were the highest-placed Eredivisie club to be eliminated as they lost 1-0 to fellow top-division side Zwolle, while Den Bosch, Sparta Rotterdam and De Graafschap all won through to the third round of the Dutch Cup.

Other teams to win were FC Eindhoven, Hollandia, Staphorst, ADO '20 and Emmen.
