Pep slams Ibrahimovic claims

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has hit back at AC Milan foward Zlatan Ibrahimovic's claims of referee bias towards the Catalan giants.

Barca were awarded two spot-kicks during their 3-1 second-leg victory over Milan at Camp Nou on Tuesday, a result which sealed their progress into the semi-finals of the competition.

Ibrahimovic suggested afterwards that football governing body UEFA were assisting Barcelona to qualify, before adding that he understands the frustration of Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho in regards to refereeing decisions that seemingly favour Barca.

Guardiola was not impressed with the Swede's comments, and urged Ibrahimovic to do his talking on the pitch instead.

"Mr. Ibrahimovic can say what he likes. Now he is making friends with Mourinho," Guardiola told reporters.

"But on the pitch, in the moment of truth, is where he has to speak. They were both penalties."

"If Mr. Ibrahimovic or Mourinho think we don't deserve our qualification and that we are winning thanks to referees, I'll say to them that we are going to play a semi-final for the fifth time in a row. And that actually means something."

Barcelona will meet either Chelsea or Benfica in the last four of the Champions League.
