A Milos Krasic hat-trick guided Juventus to a 4-2 win over Cagliari in the Serie A on Sunday as Lazio jumped to second on the table.

Krasic opened the scoring with a stunning long-range strike on 13 minutes, and again gave Juve the lead in the 34th minute after Alessandro Matri had equalised for Cagliari.

Leonardo Bonucci extended the home side's lead just after half-time when he deflected home Pepe's cross, before Krasic completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute with a another piece of individual magic.

Matri scored his second late on to give the scoreline some respectability, but Juventus will no doubt be happy with the result which moves them clear of the relegation zone.

Lazio moved into second on the Serie A table with a 1-0 win against Chievo Verona.

A win at home for Chievo would have seen them leap-frog Inter Milan into top spot, but Lazio had different ideas as they travelled to the Stadio Marc Antonio Bentegodi.

The visitors dominated possession and had the bulk of the chances, but it wasn't until the 69th minute that they made the break through thanks to Mauro Zarate.

The win was Lazio's third of the season and leaves them equal on points with Inter, with only goal difference separating the two sides.

Napoli were also winner on the road, but had to recover from a goal down against Cesena before triumphing 4-1.

Marco Parolo put the hosts in front in the 48th minute and the newly promoted side held out until the 72nd minute, when Ezequiel Lavezzi equalised.

Marek Hamsik converted from the penalty spot with nine minutes remaining, before Edson Cavani scored a late brace to blow out the margin.

Brescia dropped down to fourth after they lost 2-1 on their trip to Bari.

Brescia had won three matches in a row heading into the clash, but the hosts showed they had recovered from their 4-0 thumping from Inter midweek when Emmanuel Rivas opened the scoring in the 16th minute.

Panagiotis Kone equalised for Brescia on the half-hour mark, but defender Gilberto Martinez conceded a penalty in the 55th minute and Paulo Vito Barreto duly converted to seal the three points for Bari.

Two second-half goals gave Fiorentina a 2-0 win over Parma in Florence in what was their first victory of the season.

Adem Ljajic converted a penalty in the 61st minute before Lorenzo di Silvestri double the lead 15 minutes later to lift Fiorentina from 19th to 13th on the table.

Elsewhere, Palermo came from two goals down to snatch a 2-2 draw at home against Lecce, while a Miguel Britos own goal saved Catania in their 1-1 draw with Bologna.

Udinese picked up its first point of the season in a scoreless draw with Sampdoria.
