J.League champions Kashiwa Reysol boosted their chances of progressing to the knockout stages of the AFC Champions League after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Group H rivals Buriram United.

Brazilian star Leandro Domingues netted the game's only goal on 23 minutes after an assist from compatriot Ricardo Lobo.

Jeonbuk Motors went two points clear at the top after Lee Dong-Gook scored a stoppage-time brace to help them to a 3-1 victory at Guangzhou Evergrande.

The hosts had gone ahead on 10 minutes when Argentine midfielder Dario Conca netted from the spot.

However, last season's beaten Champions League finalists levelled on the stroke of half-time courtesy of a Lee Seung-Hyun strike.

Jeonbuk defender Cho Sung-Hwan was given his marching orders on 66 minutes, but the K-League side defied their numerical disadvantage with Lee scoring twice in added time, the second from the penalty spot.

In Group D, Al Hilal moved a point clear at the top as Youssef El-Arabi's 58th-minute goal gave them a 1-0 win over Persepolis.

Al Gharafa kept their chances of progressing to the knockout stages alive with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory at home to Al Shabab.

Sepahan closed in on a spot in the next round from Group C after goals from Bruno Correa, Xhevahir Sukaj and Mehdi Seyed-Salehi saw them to an eventful 3-0 win at Al Nasr.

Both teams missed a penalty in the clash, while Al Nasr, who are out of the tournament, had goalkeeper Abdualla Moosa sent off just after half-time.

Meanwhile, the Central Coast Mariners breathed life into their ACL campaign on Tuesday.

Mariners striker Daniel McBreen celebrated his contract extension by netting a brace as Central Coast thrashed Tianjin Teda 5-1 in Gosford in Group G.

The veteran capitalised on some great lead-up play from defender Pedj Bojic, who set up both McBreen goals in the impressive win at Bluetongue Stadium.

The Mariners led 2-0 at half-time following McBreen's double, before Joshua Rose, Michael McGlinchey and Mustafa Amini added their names to the scoresheet.

Liao Bochao had briefly made it 4-1 for the visitors, who are bottom of the group and cannot advance.Graham Arnold's Mariners sit third, a point behind top two Seongnam and Nagoya Grampus, who played out a 1-1 draw, heading into the final match day.

Seongnam opened the scoring on 12 minutes through promising South Korea international Han Sang-Woon, who fired in a fine free-kick.

After being frustrated for much of the game, Nagoya finally found a response in the 72nd minute, when Park Jin-Po put the ball into his own net from Yoshizumi Ogawa's vicious cross from the right.
