FOOTBALL MANAGER STORIES
Nacer Chadli
Real Life: Tottenham winger
FM Life: Tottenham manager
Belgian and Spurs ace Nacer Chadli doesn't have his own chant from the adoring fans at White Hart Lane.
So he made up his own chant.... on Football Manager.
"Ohhh Nacer Nacer Chadli, Ohhh Nacer Nacer Chadli," the 26-year-old sings.
"It's so catchy."
Chadli also admits to searching players statistics he doesn't know - particularly ahead of a Tottenham game in Europe.
"It allows me to see their quality or weakness," he says.

Steven Finn
Real Life: England bowler
FM Life: Watford manager
Fast bowler Steven Finn admits Football Manager has infiltrated the England cricket team.
"Stuart Broad is a big fan of it (FM). He seems to take teams that are mediocre to make them excellent, " Finn says.
"Jos Buttler is a big fan - he calls him Jose Boot-li-eri when he starts the game and says he is from Spain and played 20 years of international football."
Finn believes the feeling he gets when he scores a goal in Football Manager is probably better than when he takes a wicket.
"When it's a big goal (my celebration) like a low growling..'YESSSS'," he says.
"I celebrate more for that than when I get a wicket - I think."

Kyle Chandler
Real Life: Australian resident - Chief Executive Officer
FM Life: Basingstoke Town
It's not just famous faces who get caught up in the Football Manager craze.
Aussie Kyle Chandler randomly chose Basingstoke Town - a team in the sixth-tier English Conference South.
He battled to turn a club, which gates 450 people per game, into European champion - and his real-life connection with the club grew.
"It got to the stage where each real-life win Basingstoke had I would celebrate as any other supporter," Chandler says.
"This is despite the fact I hadn't been within 10,000kms of the club."
In 2014, while on a trip around the world, Chandler decided to live one of his dreams - watching Basingstoke play life.
"The full range of supporting emotions were experienced that day," he says.
"As Basingstoke were pegged back to 5-4 from a 5-1 lead and had a goal-line clearance in the 95th minute to secure three points towards the promotion campaign."
After the game, Chandler went to the bar to meet the players and coach to explain his connection with the club.
The reaction from the Basingstoke party was one of shock and bewilderment.
"Club legend and current manager Jason Bristow looked at me with wide eyes," Chandler says.
"There was a element of pity at the fact that someone would firstly follow ‘The Dragons’ in Australia and would come to support the side having seen the club in a computer game."
See! Football Manager is more than just a game.
