FFA Cup: Tuggeranong, Sydney derby to be telecast live

Tuggeranong
Football Federation Australia (FFA) revealed the details for the FFA Cup's round of 16 on Wednesday with eight games to be split across two days in September.
The biggest game in the Tuggies' 38-year history will be one of only two FFA Cup round of 16 ties broadcast in full by Fox Sports with Tuggeranong to welcome Victory the ACT on September 16, while the much-anticipated Sydney derby between Sydney United and Sydney FC will be live a week later.
Tuggeranong will not host Victory at their regular home ground, however, with the match set to be held at Viking Park - the regular home of ACT-based rugby club Tuggeranong Vikings.
The Tuggies overcame South Hobart on penalties to reach the last-16, while Victory defeated Western Australian club Bayswater City 2-0.
The venue for Sydney United's clash with Sydney FC on September 23 is yet to be finalised as the FFA awaits an official lux certificate to ensure a required standard of lighting is met.
The FFA are awaiting the same assurances before announcing the venue for St Albans Saints versus Perth Glory, while a suitable venue is also still to be confirmed for Palm Beach Sharks versus South Springvale.
Fox Sports' coverage of both Round of 16 match days will also feature single camera coverage of the other six matches and live crosses as the drama unfolds.
The other three matches to be played on September 16 will see Sydney Olympic host Victoria's Bentleigh Greens at Belmore Sports Ground, NPL Queensland outfit Olympic FC aim to keep its Cup run going against Central Coast Mariners at the Queensland Sports and Athletic Centre, and two National Soccer League championship winners, Adelaide City and Brisbane Strikers, reignite their rivalry at Marden Sports Complex.
On September 23, Coopers Stadium will host the solitary all-A-League encounter between Adelaide United and Brisbane Roar, while recently crowned NPL Queensland premiers Palm Beach will take on South Springvale and Perth Glory will travel to Melbourne to play St Albans.
