Eintracht slip up again

Borussia Moenchengladbach secured a 1-0 away win at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.

A Luuk de Jong goal on 22 minutes was enough for Lucien Favre's visitors, as they moved sixth - within four points of the Champions League-placed Moenchengladbach in fourth.

Over 51,000 were in attendance for the clash that was important to both sides' European aspirations, and it was de Jong that was the difference - as the Dutch striker scored his fourth goal of the season in the German top flight.

He also scored in their win over Frankfurt earlier in the season, and he continued to haunt Armin Veh's men.

It was Moenchengladbach's first win in all competitions in seven matches, while Frankfurt are now winless, and goalless, in their past four matches in the league.
