Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is making an even bigger impact off the field.

Ronaldo reportedly donated $8 million for Nepal earthquake relief, according to the French magazine So Foot.

The charity, Save the Children, launched a disaster relief program in Nepal after an earthquake ravaged the country in April, killing more than 8,000 and injuring another 20,000.

This isn't the first charitable act by Ronaldo, the star at Spain's Real Madrid who is from Portugal. According to the Guardian, he flew to Indonesia in 2004 after much of that country was destroyed by a tsunami. He also donated nearly $100,000 to a 10-year-old boy with cortical dysplasia last year.

Ronaldo has also worked with organizations such as UNICEF and World Vision.
