The powerhouse EPL club will be part of a tournament headlined by Real Madrid and will also include Serie A giant Inter Milan.
The news was released on the ICC's Twitter feed on Friday afternoon.
The tournament kicks off on July 18 to July 24 and will be played at the MCG.
