Cfong, or Craig Fong, posted the comical ad to the site on Monday, attempting to sell the Roar for “$3.50 Negotiable.”
The humourous post is a jibe at the Roar and chairman Chris Fong after the club’s well-publicised debt dramas.
The Roar was up to a year late on rent payments at their Ballymore training base, which is owned by the Queensland Rugby Union.
The Roar also struggled to pay several players recently while many members of staff were paid up to a month late.
‘Fong’ lists the condition of the club as “used” and the ad, which has over 1150 visits, says: “Successful football club with many leather bound books.
“Starts well, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face the first time.
“Currently run by an amazing former Socceroo with great style and an even better smile.
“Seems to have some issues around undisclosed liabilities. Thankfully, comes with bonus scapegoats to blame these on.
“Comes with two marquees, 5 time championship keeper, new logo, miscellaneous Bunnings Chairs and some excess baggage.
“Will include old logo and spare parts for buyers who make serious offer.
“Chairman not included.
“Sold as is.”
